Obituary of Donald Finlay Eagles

EAGLES, Donald-

It is with great sadness we announce the all to soon passing of Donald on July 3 2021, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of the late Anne (2018). Cherished father of Kim (Norman) Schwenker, Robert (Theresa) Eagles, Dan Eagles and Pam (Bob) Kempt. Loving Grampa of Lauren, Cameron, Lindsay, Meagan, Courtney, Jarrett, Alexander, Ashlyn, Brittani and Ryan and 12 great grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by his siblings Norma (Joe) Goller, Robin (Becky) Eagles, Jane Eagles and Francis (Janet) Eagles, nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Don’s greatest joy was spending time with his family. He always knew how to make you laugh and knew how to celebrate life.

Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Friday, July 9, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held a St. Alfred Roman Catholic Church, 272 Vine St., St. Catharines on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 11 a.m. Cremation will follow.  Memorial donations may be made to Niagara Region Right to Life or St. Alfred Roman Catholic Church.

As per the Province of Ontario Covid-19 regulations – visitation is limited to 25% building capacity. All guests attending the visitation or funeral must wear a mask and must call the funeral home to make an appointment.
