From Nancy & Freda,
Today we want to remember Wendell for the amazing brother, friend, father, husband and grandfather that he was. Over the past few days we have been looking back and remembering all the wonderful memories we have. From Wendell step dancing with dad, taking Nancy to get her flowers on her wedding day, our trips to St. Catherine’s and his trips home to PEI, we have so many fond memories. We remember helping Wendell prepare the house for summer during our trips, planting flowers, preparing the pool which was always followed by delicious meals, wine and so many laughs. These are just some of the memories we will never forget.
Paul, Jennifer, Aidan, Fallon, Ryan, Meghan, Max, Frank and Leo we wish we could be here with you today, to mourn the loss of our brother, your father and grandfather. Wendell loved you all so much, every year during his Christmas phone calls you could hear the pride in his voice as he talked about all of you, especially his grandchildren. We are going to miss him dearly, we are praying for you and sending you all our love.
