Obituary of Ina Dorothy Campbell

Passed away peacefully with the caring staff at Henley House at her side on Thursday, August 12, 2021. Ina was predeceased by her husband and best friend George Scotty Campbell (2011). Left to honour Ina's wonderful life are son's Brian (Lori), David (Cathy) and Ken (Louanne 2019). Ina was a loving Grandma to Sarah (Greg), Patrick, Allison, Jeffery, Courtney, Scott (Hattie) and Timothy. Ina enjoyed the family time during the weekly BBQs at pool side on Linwell Road. Ina was also blessed to become a Great Grandmother to 10 wonderful children. 

Ina was born in the rural community of Newtonbrook, Ontario on January 26, 1926. Ina moved to St. Catharines in 1950 to begin a new chapter with her husband George. One of her first decisions was to become a member of First Grantham United Church, where she attended up until her final years. Ina loved to bowl, read, work on puzzles, and long outdoor walks to stay fit. Travel was a huge part of Ina and George's life, and she reminded us often how blessed she had been to experience so many different cultures and countries.

Ina lived a beautiful, healthy and fulfilling life of which we are so proud. Arrangements are entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines. A private interment will be held for family. 

In memory of Ina, a ramdom act of kindness to someone less fortunate will go a long way in improving our world.
