"Ciocia" Aga wasn't my aunt but it seemed like she was. She was a lovely lady and always pleasant and cheerful. She was interesting to talk to and I had many wonderful conversations with her over the years. Sincerest condolences on your loss.

Our condolences on the passing of you wonderful mom. She was a beautiful and special lady. I loved our family get togethers after church when I was young. Your family was the closest we had here in Canada. I especially loved listening to the stories between your mom and my mom when they were in Africa. My mom did not like to talk too much about her early days there and it was so interesting to hear more of their adventures. I'm sure there will be a lot of talking in heaven. I will miss chatting with your mom and wish I called her more often. You were all blessed to have her as your mom and just know that she's with your dad and both of them are looking down on the wonderful family they created. Our prayers are with you at this very sad time.
Love Chris and Dave Johnston and family (nee Wolodzko)

Thank you so much for the kind words, Chris and Dave,
During the past couple of months, your parents' names came up so often, as Mum reminisced about meeting Dad at their wedding. She talked about seeing Tola during a concert, and being invited to be a bridesmaid for her. She and Dad dated for only 6 weeks before he left for Canada, after asking her to follow him in a year's time with a promise of marriage. When we can get together safely again, there are many photos and memories to share. xo

From Krystyna (Sobko) Sprentall:
Dear Ursula, Yvonne, and Barb,
Rick and I would like to express our sincerest condolences for the loss of your beautiful mother, Pani Aga. She was always very warm, loving and hospitable whenever we visited at the Lake Kaminiskeg cottage. But I have so many memories of visiting your family and you visiting us in Fort Erie when I was growing up. We are at our cottage now at Mink Lake and do visit us anytime throughout the summers.

I was very fortunate to have been introduced to Agata at her home several years ago by Yvonne. After a very short time of chatting, an immediate connection occurred when we began discussing our families’ immigration to Canada (Yvonne will know about Mexico). Tea and cookies were pushed aside on her dining table and out came photo albums (and I mean pictures!) and stories. Then pierogi making where I hoped for in-prison delivery to Costa Rica (kidding...sort of ).
A life well-lived, a woman, mother, grandmother, sister and friend well-loved. She will be missed. God Bless, Agata. Rest In Peace.
