Obituary of Noel Shayne Cullen
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Noel Shayne Cullen on September 4th, 2021, at 48 years of age. He was born in St. Catharines, Ontario, although spent many years working as a Fiber Optic Technician in Western Canada. Shayne was very passionate about his profession. Shayne was an extremely creative person who enjoyed creating art, spending time in the wilderness, listening to and making music, spending time with loved ones, and “deer-fishing” (aka hunting) as he told his animal-loving daughters. He was also someone who brought joy, humour, and uncontrollable laughter into every and any situation. Anyone who knew Shayne can vouch that there was never a dull moment in his presence. Shayne was a loving and proud father to his two daughters, Alex and Quinn Cullen. He was the son of Wendy Cullen-Mackie, and brother to Jeffery (Katie) and Daniel Mackie. He was a caring uncle to Madelyn (Kaiden), Emily, George, and Nora. Furthermore, Shayne was a beloved friend to Danielle, Riley, Ireland, Derek, and Jordan. He was, and always will be a lasting influence in his family and friend’s lives.
Donations can be made in Shayne’s memory to the Community Addiction Services of Niagara. There will be a private gathering of family and friends to celebrate Shayne's life.
