Obituary of Eunice Mae Glynn
Eunice Mae Glynn (nee Sneath) left this life in her 102nd year to rejoin the love of her life Donald (d. 1992). Eunice lived a long and meaningful life, her love and influence on family immense. Eunice suffered no fools, an intellectual with a sharp wit, fiercely independent, unabashedly liberal, an advocate for women’s rights and a fierce defender of family & friends. She spent her life as an educator both to her students and to her two loving sons, Brian (Sandy) and Kevin (Anne). She cherished her grandchildren, Kevin Sean (d. 2011), Ryan (Karla), Brandon (Cassandra), Taylor and Lauren. She was doubly blessed with two great grandchildren, Ella and Juliette. Predeceased by siblings Verda and Albert and survived by her best friend and sister, and our beloved Aunt, Beatrice Sloan (nee Sneath). Such a rich and full life will leave an impossibly huge hole in our lives. But her soul will continue to shine through our hearts, and smile through our eyes.
In keeping with Eunice’s wishes, cremation has taken place and arrangements are entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. A celebration of Eunice’s life will be held at a later date. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
