Charlie passed away peacefully with his family by his side at NHS St. Catharine’s on September 11, 2021 at the age of 43. He is survived by his loving daughters Kaileen and Brianna Meredith, parents Sheila and William Meredith, sister Bobbi (Joe) Largent, nephews Andrew, Jayson, Jeffrey and niece Alyssa, many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Charlie had many important people in his life that will greatly miss him including his best friend of 37 years Jason McAdam and the mother of his children Lisa Currie. Predeceased by grandparents Charles and Thelma Venus and Leslie and Mary Meredith, stepfather William Bazeley.

Charlie worked as a chef as cooking was his passion in life, only second to Magic. He was known for his sense of humor and his ability to make those around him laugh. He was a die-hard Toronto Blue Jays fan, Toronto Maple Leafs fan and Buffalo Bills fan. 

Cremation has taken place. His funeral service will be held on September 21, 2021 at George Darte Funeral Home at 2:00pm, followed by Celebration of Life at Club La Salle 111 Arthur St, St Catharine’s ON L2M1H8 at 3:00pm.

 As per Covid-19 regulations, anyone wishing to attend the Funeral Service must call the Funeral Home to notify of your attendance,(905)-937-4444. Seating capacity is a maximum of 75.  All must wear a mask
