Obituary of Margaret McMullen Ferguson

Surrounded by her loving family, Margaret passed away peacefully on October 2, 2021. Devoted Mum to Kiel Congiu (Natasha), beloved daughter of Robert and Janet Ferguson, loving sister to Christine (Stephen), and Robert (Wendy). Margaret will be dearly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her ex-husband and close friend, Nick Congiu (2017)

Margaret was an independent, hard-working lady who loved her animals, a real ‘dog-whisperer’ always insisting on furry friends in her home and spending time at the family trailer with her nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Margaret’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, October 24th at The Imperial Veterans Club, 15 George St., St. Catharines (time to be determined) . Arrangements entrusted to George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St. St. Catharines. If desired, donations in Margaret’s memory to Princess Margaret Hospital would be appreciated by her family.
