WILSON, Ida Gina
Surrounded by her family and loved ones, Ida died peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, October 9, 2021 in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late Richard. Loving mother to Rick (Mary), Mike (Andrea) and Gemma Copland (Ray Taylor). Cherished grandmother of Thomas (Nicole), Nicholas (Victoria), Kayla, Carly (Greg) and Alex. Much loved sister to Frank (Rosemary) Lostracco and the late Niva (Fiore) Campigotto. Ida leaves behind several nieces and nephews and many honourary grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents, Faustino and Felicetta Lostracco and by her brother Edmund Lostracco.
Special thanks to Dr. H. Kim, Dr. Rose and the nursing team at Lookout Ridge for their kindness and compassion towards Ida.
Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Friday, October 15 from 7-9 p.m. A funeral service for Ida will be held on Saturday, October 16 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home ceremony room. Interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
