Obituary of Jonathan Richard Fortune
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Jonathan Richard Fortune sadly announce his passing on the date of October 16th, 2021. Jon leaves behind his loving spouse of over 20 years, Katie McNeish; cherished son, Owen; brother, Justin; parents-in-law Ken and Lesley McNeish; sister and brothers-in law, Nicola, Cory and Neil; nephews, Carter and Callum; grandparents, Ron and Janet McNeish as well as Art and Maggie in P.E.I, and many relatives in Nova Scotia. Predeceased by Jon are his beloved parents, Richard Carter and Evelyn Fortune. In keeping with Jon’s wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted with GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. Cremation has taken place and the family invites guests for visitation on October 26th 2021 from 2PM-4PM with a funeral service to follow at 4PM in the funeral home ceremony room. At a later date, the family will be travelling to Nova Scotia for a final ceremony and resting place. If desired, please consider making donations in honour of Jon to Pathstone Mental Health.
