Boris and family,
My sincere condolences with the passing of Theresa. She was always welcoming to Ben and myself when we were at our cottage. The four of us would get together for an enjoyable visit and get up to date about our kids and grandkids. The last few years we kept in touch by phone. She was a very kind and gracious lady.

I’ll always remember Theresa. How excited I got when we heard the news that she was coming home with her family for a visit. Boris rolled his big crew cab truck in the driveway. The kids crawled out of the cap covered bed of the truck with what I believe was well padded with a mattress and pillows, blankets and all the comforts to travel the distance. She would always bring baskets of peaches home, along with little gifts which was like having Christmas in July :) Her laughter filled the room, that once was her very own home she grew up in. I’ll always cherish the stories she told. She always had this special way of telling us the memories she had as a young girl, and times she had growing up with Dad and her other siblings. She loved them dearly
Wayne and I had the pleasure of visiting Theresa and Boris years ago. She went above and beyond catering to us during our visit. She made us feel at home, and toured us around St.Catherine’s. I’ll never forget the time she had made Wayne a cup of tea, and he poured some milk into it and it soured in the cup. He told Theresa he though maybe the milk was sour. She checked it, the milk was fine. Wayne took a drink of his tea, thinking it was ok…and to his surprise it was vinegar instead of water. He told Theresa, and she thought she filled the tea pot with the jug of vinegar instead of water, well she had the greatest laugh along with us….and with a big chuckle she said “Im glad it was you who got that cup instead of Boris”
My deepest sympathy goes out to you all. She will always hold a very special place in my heart. She was one of the best aunts a little New Brunswick girl from Nelson could ever have

Theresa was the eptimome of a good neighbour. (So was her husband Boris). In the late '60s and early '70s the Pluts lived just two doors down from my family on Springbank Drive in the Ridley Heights area. Their eldest son Denis and my son Mike were best buds, especially when they were ganging up on Craig Upham, also a nearby neighbour, also blessed by great parents, Ralph and Dodie (both deceased).
Teresa was always friendly, supportive and a willing surrogate in supervising our boys who all had mischievous tendencies. She did it with grace, kindness and compassion, always a ready laugh, but achieving the desired "behavioural adjustments" by the kids.
When it came time---inevitably it seems---when our young families out grew our homes for bigger properties that turned out to be some distance from one another, we stayed in touch. Not frequently, but always with respect and genuine interest in each family's development.
Theresa provided much of the impetus; she sincerely cared. Nothing more complex than that. My late wife Sherry would be especially devasted by Theresa's passing. But the two of them may be chatting over old times as I write this. They shared an indomitable nurturing nature while enjoying the fun in everything.
My sincere condolences to Boris and his kids.

I was privileged to work with Theresa on 3C at Hotel Dieu Hospital back in the 1960s. I remember her warmth, friendliness and beautiful smile. It was always a good shift when I was working with Theresa. I have not seen her for many years but she will be remembered always with deep affection. My sincere sympathy to her family.
