Obituary of Jadwiga Tomczuk
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Jadwiga in her 97th year at Tabor Manor on January 9th, 2022. Predeceased by, and now reunited with her beloved husband Eugene (1998).
Loving Mother of Henry (Carol), Wally (Susan), and Stan (Heather).
Proud Babcia to Stacey (the late Paul Mambella, 2010), Michael (Jodi), Paul, Brian (Vicki), Mathew (Becky), and Adam (Angie), Tanner (Layla), Alanda (Dim) and Great Grandchildren Zachary, Cole, Lily, Gavin, Spencer, Nash, Miley, Bianca, Leo, and Scarlett.
Loving Aunt to Kasia and Peter Malinski and their children Patricia and Adam and extended family in Poland, Scotland, England, and New Jersey.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to the staff at Tabor Manor for their compassionate care.
Babcia lived her life for her family. We will always remember her kindness to everyone over the years. We love you and will never forget you.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 14th at 11am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with interment to follow. If desired, donations to Our Lady of Perpetual Help (Building Fund) would be appreciated by Jadwiga’s family.
As per Covid restrictions those wishing to attend the visitation or service must RSVP to the funeral home at 905-937-4444 as capacity is limited. Proof of double vaccination is required to attend the visitation.
