SAGE, Gerry

Passed away suddenly, due to Covid-19, at the age of 86. Beloved husband of the late Sondra “Sandy” (nee Brady) (1996). He is the loving Father of Paul (Debbie), Larry (Dawn) and Judy (Derek) Stevens. Cherished Papa and Grampa to Allen, Greg, Paul, Karen, Katie and Dana, and Great Grampa to Chelsey, Dallan, Rowen, Teddy and Tucker. He will be missed by his sister Patty (Darren) Fenton (nee Theal), many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Gerry had a love for history, whether it was for his old cars or his family tree. He was a member of the St. Catharines Men’s Cribbage League for around 50 years and an affiliate member for the Legion Branch 350.  In his later years, Gerry loved to travel, listen to his old school country music and Golf.

Thank you to all the Dr’s and Nurses for all their help and care throughout Gerry’s stay in the hospital. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, on Sunday, January 23, 2022 from 2-4 p.m. Cremation will follow and a Celebration of his Life will be held in the spring. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

As per Covid restrictions those wishing to attend the Visitation must RSVP to the funeral home  at 905-937-4444 as capacity is limited. Double vaccination and proof of identity is required, masks must be worn.
