Obituary of Stella Duff

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Stella on Tuesday, January 24, 2022 at the Niagara Health System, St. Cathrines Site.
Loving mother of Margaret Stopard (Guy) and Bob Duff. Cherished grandmother of Tom, Bill and Tracy, as well as great grandmother of Tyler, Brandon, Savannah, and Logan. Also great great grandmother of Rosie.

Predeceased by her husband  Bill Duff (1992), grandson Gavin Duff (2010), great grandson Cody Schnur (2018), her sister Emily and her brother Joe.

Stella and her husband Bill met in the armed forces after they both had enlisted to help Canada’s efforts during WW II.
Stella was proud of her duties in the Air Force. She was a strong, independent, and loving woman.
Stella’s family would like to extend their heart felt thank you to all the doctors, nurses, and nurse practitioner Lindsey
at the hospital for their care and compassion for Stella over the past months.

Arrangements entrusted to the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St. St. Catharines  905-937-4444. A private celebration of life will be held at a future date.
