Obituary of John Fredrick Waldron
On the date of February 10th, 2022 John Fredrick Waldron was carried into the arms of the Lord in his 90th year with family by his side. Leaves behind his cherished wife of 36 years, Linda Waldron and children: Sharon (Angus), Andrew, Rod (Catherine) Michael, Kent, Bonnie (Darryl) and Kirk; grandfather to: Jennifer, Johnny, Elizabeth, Kyle, Kevin (Victoria) and Nicole; Great-grandfather to Ariel and Malcolm. John was predeceased by his loving parents Samuel and Dorothy and son Vincent. By trade, John was a cabinet maker and enjoyed constructing furniture and refurbishing antiques. He especially loved to tell his grandchildren stories about history and the family tree. John was very active in his church and attended many events and assisted with much of the building repairs. In keeping with his wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted to GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME 585 Carlton St.
John’s family invites guests for a gathering time on the date of Thursday, February 17th 2022, from 9:30am-11:00am with a funeral service to begin at 11AM in the funeral home with a burial to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please consider making donations in honour of John to the Royal House and/or to the Royal Canadian Legion.
