It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Sarah Louise Spagnola in her 99th year on Sunday February 13th, 2022. Predeceased by her loving husband Charles and beloved sister Marie Lewis. Sarah will be greatly missed by her “pride and joy”, son Joseph Roberto (Karen), her many nieces, nephews and friends that she adored. A school teacher for almost fifty years Sarah touched the lives of many sharing her knowledge and kindness, she was a long time member of St. Alfred Roman Catholic Church. In keeping with her generous nature and need to always help others, the family welcomes donations to Community Care or the Charity of your choice in Sarah’s honour.
The family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Thursday, February 17th from 11am to 1pm. A Final Tribute for Sarah will follow in the Ceremony Room of the funeral home at 1pm. Interment Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
