Obituary of Margaret Walker Adamson
Margaret (Meta) Walker Adamson (nee: Hodgart) passed away peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on February 16th, 2022, at the age of 92. Predeceased by her husband Robert (Bob), loving mother of Elaine (Hank) VanSchyndel, devoted grandmother to Taya (John) Himes, beloved aunt to Brian (Marsha) Hodgart. Married to Bob for 55 years. Meta had many gifts and talents that she shared with her community and family, including volunteering with children with down syndrome, delivering meals on wheels, her expertise as a seamstress, and spending countless hours playing games with her granddaughter. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
As per Meta's wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place on Saturday, February 26th from 10am – 12pm at George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines with the Funeral Service following, by invitation at 12pm. Registration is not required for visitation , but to comply with current Covid restrictions, registration is required to attend the ceremony as spacing is limited. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Salvation Army or the Lincoln County Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
