Obituary of Helen Christine Motschman
Motschman, Helen (nee Kuzyk) – On Friday, February 18, 2022, at the St. Catharines General Hospital, in her 76th year, Helen passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Although the last 5 years brought many health challenges, Helen never gave up and showed a fighting spirit right to the end. Helen was the beloved wife of 51 years to Paul. She was a loving mother to Kevin (Maria) and Lauren (Cory). Helen will be sadly missed by her loving grandchildren Paul, Julia, Olivia, and Levi. Helen will also be missed by her sisters Emily, Margaret, and Carol. Helen was fortunate to have many life-long friends who cared and will miss her deeply. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Rose Kuzyk, and her brother Michael. Helen will be fondly remembered for superb baking, her love of gardening and the joy her grandchildren brought to her life.
The family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines 905-937-4444 on Wednesday February 23rd from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday morning, February 24th at 11am at St. Denis Roman Catholic Church, 230 Lake Street. Interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
