Gavin My Friend, My Family
I remember the first day we meet in ks. I remember how friendly you were to me and how you were about business as much as i was. I will never forget all the years we spent as friends and how your family became my own. I never got to tell you how much of a brother you and will always be to me. I love you brother and I know in Heaven you know I love your family even if for awhile we drifted.

"GOD MUST HAVE NEEDED A LITTLE MORE LIGHT UP THERE"
Gavin was a magnet to life, Everybody was drawn to him with his smile and his eyes.
He was looked up to by his brothers Dallas, Garrett and Jeff. He was more than a son, he was a partner in my life, from filming television, to running pool halls, leather shops, car sales and tattoo parlors. He was loved by everybody who came in contact with him. His mother knew he was special from the first time she held him, what a joy it was. He had every animal you could think of growing up, birds, dogs, and a horse. He cared for everything. His mother remembers his big blue eyes and his smile that would light up any room.
He will be missed very very much, there will always be a big hole in my heart where he once lived. God be with you GW, our son. Love, Robert & Cathy Schnur

Gavin... In 1975 you were born. I was 37 years old & I was so happy. I loved children & had 5 of my own. Always room for more. My first Grandson. You were such a darling & those blue eyes drove the women crazy. When you slept over you always slept under the bed. You took a flash lite & thought you were camping. When you went with Uncle Paul to deliver papers you came home sleeping in the paper bag. Uncle Blake took you tobogganing he brought you home frozen . You were always happy . You never wanted to go home. Too much fun at Grandma's. I am glad we had so many years with each other. You went away & came back. You never told me you were leaving because you did not want me to cry. I called you Fav. & you called me Grand Ma Ma. Now you are an Angel & I know I will never forget you. Love Grand Ma Ma♥

Hammers Tattooes!
I got to meet the family in the early 90's, shortly after they made a business adventure into tattooing. So 1 night we were all hanging out at the parlor and I had a small bottle of moonshine..Gavin & I stepped into the back room so Bob wouldn't catch us, about 15 min go by and out we came and decided to start crackin on people!! Next thing I know I'm bald and tattooed!!Aparently sometime during the nite I looked like "Zach Morris" from Saved by the bell!! That is a story that I've told alot of people throughout the years! I haven't seen the family in a few years, I figured one day we'd run into each other...Now all I have are the memories!!Those will always be with me, Thanks Gavin!!

Dear friends,
We are so sorry to hear about your loss. I hope you find comfort with your loving family and friends. Life is full of surprises and we can never be ready for these events. Perhaps he was lucky to not suffer too much, and leave quietly...
May God rest him in peace.
Best wishes, Margareta, Ana, and Cristiana

Words cannot express how deeply sorry I am for your loss. Gavin was such a great guy. He gave me my very first tattoo and charged me next to nothing for it because he knew I didn't have much money and he didn't do it for the money anyway, he did it because he enjoyed doing it. That was the kind of person he was. He enjoyed making others happy. Like Jeff said previously, I have the privilege of having Gavin's art on me and I will always remember him. My deepest condolences go out to all his friends and family.

In growing up Gavin and I were the closest of brothers. We did everything together and had all the same friends. We lived together, worked together, and went into the same business. Gavin and I were always close, but the past few years he lived so far away and I've always looked forward to the day that we would reunite again. My heart is broken now that I know that day will not come. I'm one of the lucky ones who has Gavin's art on them. I will wear it proudly as ever and Gavin will never be forgotten. I love you Gavin, I feel that a big part of me has left now that you're gone. But I will hold you in my heart where I know you'll be safe. I will be there for Cody & Savannah if they ever need me I promise. Your brother, Jeff
