It is with great sadness that the family of John Duncan Howard announces his passing on Saturday, April 9th at the age of 89 at his Port Dalhousie home. John will be lovingly remembered by Kiki, his wife of almost 60 years, his children John Jr and Georgia, sister Marilyn Ryan, brother Jim and his many nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his parents Norman and Georgina, his brothers Les and Norman, and his sisters Lil, Bette, and Lynn. 

John worked for the St. Catharines Standard for 43 years in the composing room.

The Family wishes to send a special thank you to Kim Lively, case coordinator for Hamilton, Niagara, Haldimand, Brant LHIN. All the PSW's of Bayshore Home Care Solutions and Palliative Care Nurse Emma.

In keeping with John's wishes cremation has taken place. Arrangement entrusted to The George Darte Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines 905-937-4444. If so desired,  donation made in John's memory to the Lincoln County Humane Society would be appreciated by his family.
