Obituary of Margaret Kerezsi
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Margaret Kerezsi on April 23, 2022 in her 88th year. She is now reunited with her husband, Jeno (1977). Loving mother to Jeno (Helen), Cathy and Miranda. Devoted Grandmother to Shania (Devon), Alex Kerezsi in Australia, and Eugene (Brenda) of Welland. Great-Grandmother to five great-grandchildren. She will be missed especially by her four cats.
Born in Hungary, Margaret immigrated to Canada in 1966. In her early years, she earned a degree in chemistry and worked as a laboratory technician. She spoke five languages, and prided herself in caring for her prize-winning roses.
Margaret is resting at George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home ceremony room on Friday, May 6th, 2022 at 11am with interment to follow. If desired, donations to Community Care or McMaster Children’s Hospital would be appreciated.
