Falconer, Joyce (nee Yaxley)
Surrounded by her family, Joyce passed away peacefully on May 16, 2022 in her 80th year. Loving wife to Bill for over 56 years. Amazing mother to Rick, and Sherry Riddick (Tom Unwin). Best Nana to Boston, and welcomed to heaven by Gibson (2016). Joyce was predeceased by her parents Bill and Mae Yaxley.
Joyce served on the Altar Guild at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Chippawa. An avid Blue Jays supporter and Miami Dolphins fan.
In keeping with Joyce’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive guests on Friday, May 20th from 2-4pm at George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. A Celebration of Life will take place at the funeral home at 4pm with a light reception to follow. For those wishing to attend virtually, a Livestream link will be available on the funeral home website. In lieu of flowers, donations to Defeat Duchenne Canada would be appreciated.
