OLEXY, Sophie (nee Kulyk)
It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Sophie on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 in her 89th year at the St. Catharines General Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Victor Olexy (2008). Loving Mother of Darlene McLaughlin and Daryl (Deann) Olexy. Deeply missed by her grandchildren Tyler and Cody (Amanda) McLaughlin and fur baby Blackeys. She will always be remembered by her family and many friends especially her daughter and best friend who took care of her the last few years.
Sophie had many passions that includes, gardening, painting, knitting, crocheting as well as working for Avon for many years.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements are entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME,585 Carlton St.. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke or Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated by the family.
