Obituary of Zita Maier

It is with deep sorrow and broken hearts that we mourn the passing of Zita Maier on May 21, 2022 at the age of 94 at Meadows of Dorchester LTC, Niagara Falls. Zita was predeceased by her husband, Martin (2018) and infant daughter (1959). She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her children, grandchildren, family and friends. She was one of a kind and whomever she loved was truly blessed. We will cherish her joyful spirit, her bubbly personality and amazing fortitude. In accordance with Zita’s wishes, cremation has taken place and funeral arrangements have been entrusted with GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St. A family-closed Celebration of Zita's life will be held at a later date. In memory of Zita, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer Society Niagara Foundation or a charity of your choice.
