Obituary of Diane Mary Bradley
BRADLEY, Diane- It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Diane Mary Bradley at the age of 82 in
St. Catharines on May 23rd, 2022, after a short illness at home. Diane is survived by her son Randy (Christine) Lowden, her daughters Karen and Leanne Lowden. She is also survived by her brothers Gerry (Joan deceased) , Ted and Jim Bradley and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister Dawn Bennett.
Diane was a big fan and enjoyed cheering on the Niagara Ice Dogs, playing cards and scrabble. She will be greatly missed by the ladies in her euchre group and her theatre group.
Diane loved her home and spent many hours in her garden. She was very independent and lived well despite the fact that she lost most of her vision over the last several years. She volunteered with Community Care and was an avid supporter of the Rankin Cancer Run.
Special thanks to her son Randy, her niece Kelly Bennett and her cousin Gail Holman, nieces Lynn Bradley and her daughter Erin from Sudbury, and the wonderful Niagara Palliative Care team that allowed her to stay in her home as per her wishes. The biggest thank you to her wonderful neighbours Mike and Sandra Kalapos who helped her so much over the years.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, June 5th, 2022 at The George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines. Visitation from 9:30a.m. to 11:30a.m. Funeral Service at 11:30a.m. and a reception following at the funeral home. At the family's request guests attending the visitation and the Funeral Service are required to wear masks.
As per Diane's wishes, in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Rankin Cancer Run www.rankincancerrun.com.
