Obituary of Margaret Wahl

WAHL, Margaret At Stabler Centre Hospice in St. Catharines on Sunday, August 26, 2012, after an eight month battle with cancer, God welcomed Margaret Rose Wahl home, in her 73rd year. Loving wife of Horace Wahl and faithful mom of Joanne (Paul) Janzen, Saskatchewan; Brenda (Brandon) Duff, St. Catharines and Carole (Victor) Hartsfield, Texas. One-of-a-kind Grammy of Kyle and Shelby Duff, Breanne and Lauren Janzen and Dillon Hartsfield. Special caring sister to Faith (Ross) Somerville, Brantford and wonderful Aunt to Don (Leslie) Somerville and Diane (Lee) Miller. Predeceased by her parents Albert and Ella (Plyley) Heximer. Also survived by her step-mother, Marie Heximer and her family of Kitchener. Margaret will be remembered for her smile, love for family and friends, and her hospitality. She loved and served well her Saviour and God, church and various missions. A special thank you to Dr. Levesque, Marsha and the oncology staff at St. Catharines General and also the loving staff at Stabler Centre Hospice of St. Catharines. Family and friends will be received at a Celebration of Life Service on Monday, October 1 at 10:30 AM at Bethany Community Church, 1388 Third Street, St. Catharines. Donations in memory of Margaret may be given on this day towards ministries that touched her heart.
