Obituary of Bruno Camillo Osvaldo Mambella
"He was my best friend for 50 years and my husband for 34 years."
Peacefully on Friday, July 15th, 2022. Survived by his wife Ann and his daughter Desiree (Bob). Predeceased by his son Bruno Anthony, the light of his life, and his sister Julia Scarpone and her husband Joe. Survived by his brother Mario and his wife MariaPia and his brother Antonio and his wife Marisa. Also survived by Ann's children Scott, Shelley (Terry), Sheri (David) and their children who knew Bruno as Tatooch and Desiree's son Aaron (Cate) and daughter Hayley. And his first great grandchild Ethan whom he only met on video. Also, many nieces and nephews who enjoyed Sunday gatherings at Uncle Bruno's pool.
Bruno came to Canada when he was 15 and soon became a master plasterer. He then got into the cleaning business creating Niagara Home Service which he ran successfully for 43 years. Finding himself bored in retirement, he took many courses and became a Class A Golf Club Maker. He was a member of the St. Catharines Golf Club and of the Royal Oak Golf Club in Titusville, Florida. He was a past president of the St. Catharines Business Club,
The family will receive friends at St. Julia Roman Catholic Church, 251 Glenridge Avenue on Wednesday, July 20th from 9:30 -11:00am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated for Bruno at 11am. Inurnment to take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If so desired, donations made in Bruno's memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by his family.
