Obituary of Jeffrey Kenneth Vale
It is with profound sadness and broken hearts, we announce the passing of Jeff on July 16, 2022, at the age of 56, after a long battle with Crohn’s disease. Loving husband of 22 years to Carole Bisson, proud father to his children, Kenneth and Aaron Vale, Jerry Purdy, and Grace (Steve) Fortune. Devoted grandfather to Kylie Brousseau and Raine Fortune. Jeff was the beloved son of Barbara Vale, and will be deeply missed by his big sister Sandy Davis. He is survived by his sisters-in-law; Ida (Mike), Angel, and Leona (Bill), his brothers-in-law Patrick (Jackie), and John, as well as Aunt Sue and Uncle Daryl “Brownie.” A loving uncle to Michelle, James, Sarah, Skye and Austin. Jeff will also be missed by many loving cousins, friends and golf buddies. Jeff was predeceased by his father, Kenneth Vale.
A graduate of Laura Secord Secondary School, Jeff excelled in the school’s music program, playing several instruments. Music was an integral part of Jeff’s life, and he had the ability to find a song lyric to match any given situation. When he wasn’t working, Jeff could be found on the golf course, spending time with his family, or playing his guitar. Jeff was a lifetime employee of General Motors, a proud member of UNIFOR LOCAL 199, and loved the community his ‘work family’ provided. His kindness, sense of humour, and high-energy personality will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
The family wishes to thank Jeff’s loving father-in-law Gerry Bisson and Jackie for their love and support during this time.
