Obituary of Patricia Mary Zoccoli

ZOCCOLI, Patricia Mary (nee Mahoney) With sad hearts, our family announces the passing of Patricia at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Hospital on Saturday, August 25th, 2012 in her 75th year. Cherished daughter of the late Mary (Wynn) Mahoney and Michael J. Mahoney of Peterborough. Beloved wife of the late Carm Zoccoli (1990). Loving mother of Joe and his wife Rose, John and his wife Michele and Jim and his wife Melanie. Nanny Dune will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Adam, Andrew, Janyn and Hunter. Survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Doreen Mahoney of London, Ontario, by her sister and brother-in-law, Joanne and Bill Simmons of Peterborough, by her brother-in-law, Anthony (the late Helene) Zoccoli of St. Catharines. Predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Ray Meagher of Peterborough. Dear Aunt of Karen (Dave), Jeff, Steve, Peter (Jeanette), Dave, Brad (Angela), Dyanna (Mark), Rick, Lisa (John). Great Aunt of Braden, Adriana, Samantha, Robbie, Julia, Angeline, Ethan, Alicia, Jackson, Aiden, and Nicholas. Fondly remembered by her best friend, Virginia Parkes of St. Catharines, Uncle John Mahoney of Peterborough, the late Fred Ludovici and family of St. Catharines, and the late Mary Martyn and family of Peterborough. Patricia was a long-standing parishioner of St. Alfred†™s Church and a 50 year member of the Catholic Women†™s League. Patricia was deeply devoted to her family and extremely proud to play an integral part in the family business, Tim Hortons. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street on Wednesday, August 29th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers held at 3pm. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at St. Alfred†™s Church on Thursday, August 30th at 11 a.m. All guests are welcome to a reception that will follow at St. Alfred†™s Church Hall.
