Obituary of Karl Michlik
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Karl in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Helen, cherished father of Christopher and Mark (Heather). Adoring and proud Grandpa of Melissa and Madeleine. Karl is predeceased by his parents; Joseph and Maria, and siblings Joseph and Sofia. Karl will be dearly missed by his brother Milan (Violet), as well as his nieces and nephews.
Karl’s family was his greatest joy, and he was happiest spending time with his boys and his granddaughters. He retired from Domtar in 2002 after 40 years of service.
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all of Karl’s doctors and staff of the Niagara Health System.
Arrangements entrusted to George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. In keeping with Karl’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. If desired, donations to the Walker Family Cancer Centre or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by Karl's family.
