It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful Mom, Filomena Felice in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her husband Antonio Felice. She will be greatly missed by her 6 children, Mary (Len), Steve (Chris) Pat, Angela, John (Michelle) Libro (Elaine), 15 Grandchildren Anthony, Stephanie, Andrew, Aaron, Desirae, Trish, Melissa, Jessica, Josh, Kyle, Johnny, Cory, Ashley, Nick, and Vanessa, 11 great grandchildren, Caden, Adelyn, August, Avayah, Aryella, Ava, Brooke, Blake, Abigail, Lachlan, Declan. She was the last surviving aunt to many nieces and nephews of the Felice, Farinacci, Damiano and Zanardi Families. If you ever had the chance to meet Filomena, she had a magnetic personality and always welcomed you with her big, beautiful smile. The companionship and human connection she shared with so many people were such a big part of her living such a long-fulfilled life. She was a strong and at times stubborn woman who liked things done her way. The family is so grateful for the kind, caring and compassionate March of Dimes staff at Faith Luthern Villa and for all the friends there that have allowed her to live such an independent life and keep her “Forever Young.”
The family will be receiving visitors on Tuesday September 6th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm with a funeral Service Wednesday September 7th at 11am at George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to WOMENS PLACE, ( a place for confidential and compassionate support) RED ROOF RETREAT (a place to change and shape the lives of those living with special needs in the Niagara Region) MARCH OF DIMES, (provide a wide range of services for people with disabilities).
