Obituary of James Irvine Henry Harrison

It is with great sadness the family of Mr. James “Jim” Irvine Henry Harrison sadly announce his passing on August 19^th, 2022 at 4:26AM at the St. Catharines’ Hospital in his 86^th year. Born to Lottie and Irvine Harrison on November 4^th 1936. James Harrison was a master craftsman who loved life. Was the beloved father of Julie and Cathy Harrison; grandfather of: Trisha, the late Cadena Lane, Catlan, Tanita Harrison, Cuyler, Tyren St. Cyr, Ethan and Jorja Gilmour; great-grandfather of: Caden, Tristan Lane, Kelsey, Alysha, Luke Harrison, Paisley and Preston Ward. James was also survived by his sister, Hazel (Warren) McGahey. Nieces Alison and Laura and nephew Nicholas McGahey. James was born in Toronto, grew up in Oshawa where he learned his trade. He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to know him. In keeping with his wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted with GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. A funeral service will be held Sunday, September 4^th, 2022 beginning at 2:00PM in the funeral home ceremony room. The family will have a private reception at their home following the ceremony. James will be cremated after his service and buried with his parents at Mount Lawn Cemetery at a later date.
