Obituary of Fortunato Napoli

NAPOLI, Fortunato Passed away peacefully after a 2 year battle with cancer, on Thursday, August 23rd at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 91. Loving husband of 64 years to Teresa (nee Barillaro), loving and devoted father of Domenic (Lucia) Napoli, Carmela (Nick) Scali and Mac Napoli. Predeceased by his son Nick Napoli (2007). Proud Nonno of Teresa (Rene) Fabbro, Marcella Napoli, Domenico Fortunato Napoli, Domenic (Dacia) Scali, and Sara (Matthew) McLean. Much loved Great Nonno of Luca Fabbro, and Daniella and Dailyn Scali. Mr. Napoli's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Monday, August 27th from 7-9pm and Tuesday, August 28th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Catholic Church, 272 Vine Street, on Wednesday, August 29th at 9:30am. Entombment to follow in Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, Fonthill. Vigil prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Tuesday at 7pm. If desired, memorial donations to Wellspring Niagara would be appreciated by the family.
