Obituary of John Jaworski (Jawor)
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of John Jawor on September 9 2022.
He is predeceased by his darling wife Bev who was bedridden for her final 2 years. John unselfishly cared for her in their home of 68 years until her passing in 2021 .John was the loving father and best friend of his son Brian and his wife Marianne. He was the adored grandfather of Jennavieve and her fiance Mark.
Until his passing ,John enjoyed a great many passions in his life. He was a remarkable wealth of information on any topic ,be it history, geography, wildlife or the arts. If you asked John a question there was always an answer full of interesting facts and details. We always joked that he could reign supreme on Jeopardy but John was far too humble to want to be on a television show. Among John's many hobbies were Japanese gardening and his Koi ,model railroading,1000 piece 3d puzzles and military scale modelling.
John was in the process of setting up a diorama of the American civil war which brought him great pleasure .All of his "projects" usually took at least 10 years to complete like his recreation of the Pennsylvania horseshoe curve model railway.
John truly did enjoy life and his loved ones every minute of every day and the thought of this beautiful, kind compassionate, patient, humble man will be a constant inspiration to us all. Your wonderful stories will be sadly missed but never forgotten.
A celebration of life will be announced.
