Obituary of Georgena Mae Campbell

CAMPBELL, GEORGENA MAE (nee Sparks)-Peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving husband William Campbell and family, Georgena Mae Campbell (nee Sparks) entered into eternal peace on August 14, 2012.Georgena was born on April 27, 1937 in Ayer†™s Cliff, Quebec, daughter of the late William and Ruth Sparks. Predeceased by her infant daughter Shelley Lee, in-laws Margaret and Thomas Campbell and Florence Campbell. Also predeceased by her brother George Sparks and his wife Francis, brother-in-law George Campbell, sister-in-law Jessie Ciesla and her husband Hank.She married William Campbell on July 26, 1958 and recently celebrated 54 years of marriage together.She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her husband and best friend William Campbell, her children; Linda and Don Cumpson, Glen and Wendy Campbell, Sandra Campbell and David Thompson, Robert and Susanna Campbell as well as her grandchildren; Carly, Megan, Aaron, Dylan, Preston and Keira.She will be missed dearly by sister-in-law Ina Campbell, many nieces, nephews, extended family and so many special friends. As per Georgena†™s wishes cremation has taken place. Graveside service will be held at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens in Fonthill, Ontario on Saturday, August 18 at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Niagara or Sick Kids Foundation. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude, on behalf of Georgena to the many family, friends and medical staff for all of their love and support during this journey. A special thank you to CCAC, Bayshore Home Health, ParaMed and their home care teams that allowed Georgena to be at peace and comfort in her own home.
