Obituary of Carrie Alberta Betts

BETTS, Carrie Alberta (nee Elliott) The world has lost another angel on Wednesday, August 08, 2012 in her 94th year. She slept peacefully away at Linhaven to join her soulmate and husband Hank, and all of her siblings in heaven. Carrie is survived by her two loving daughters and their husbands: Carol (Ron) Brenneman and Becky (Gerry) Whitworth. She was the much loved "Gramma" of Jim, Taylor, and Abby. Carrie is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Thanks to all the staff at Linhaven, John, Carol, Debbie, Kathy, Maria and Dr. Wong who gave her the finest care and respect. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Carrie's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Monday, August 13th from 10-10:45 am. A Memorial Service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
