Obituary of Bettyann Benson

With profound sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Bettyann Benson (nee Kauhanen), at age 76. She passed away peacefully at Credit Valley Hospital with her family by her side on November 24. Beloved wife to Thomas Benson for 54 years. Much loved mother to Elana (Cam), Michael (Patricia), and cherished “Bamma'' to Maya, Ethan and Miles. Dear sister to Norm Kauhanen (Sue), and the late Auna Dobrowki (Dick). Bettyann lived a full life as a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She fulfilled a career as a teacher, loved to cook, garden in her yard with her husband, and sing in the local choir. She will be dearly missed and forever in all of our hearts. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday December 11th at the home of Michael and Patricia Benson at 7722 Sabine Drive in Niagara Falls from 12pm to 4pm.
