Obituary of Anna Theresa Warner
Anna Theresa Warner passed away peacefully at the Niagara Health- St Catharines Site on November 30, 2022 after a long battle against several complex medical conditions. Anna was 61 years old and leaves behind her much loved family: Marla, Emery, Devona (Chris), Shea, and Wellington and her grandchildren Arionnah and Noe. She is survived by her siblings David (Karen) William, Peter, Ruth, Helen (Jeremy) and Genevieve (Alan) and many nieces and nephews and her beloved Aunt, Ann Normile. Anna was predeceased by her parents William Warner and Theresa Warner (nee Normile).
In the days following Anna's much too soon passing, we have shared many stories about her love of music, especially Bob Dylan, the dishes she cooked that her children remember with fondness, her sense of humour, her hard-earned wisdom, big smile and generous heart. She will be missed by all who loved her.
Anna will be celebrated and remembered at two events. The first event will take place on December 8, 2022 from 6-9 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion, 15 George St, St Catharines, Ontario. If you live in the area, please come and honour Anna by bringing photos you may have of her and of course, stories of your time with her that will bring comfort to her children and her family. There will be food to share.
On December 17, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Anna will be laid to rest beside her mother at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Napanee, Ontario. We will have a second celebration of her life from 2-4:30 p.m. at the Waterfront River Pub, 22 Water St., Napanee, Ontario. Please join us if you can and bring photos and stories to share that will bring comfort to her children and her family. We will have food to share.
Instead of flowers, please consider making a donation to The Raft, an agency in St. Catharines that was important to Anna.
Rest in Peace dear Anna.
Forever Young
May God bless and keep you always
May your wishes all come true
May you always do for others
And let others do for you
May you build a ladder to the stars
And climb on every rung
May you stay forever young
May you stay forever young
