Obituary of Judy Ann Dmytrow
Dmytrow, Judith (Judy) Ann - Unexpectedtly passed away with her loving family by her side on Thursday July 26, 2012 at Hamilton General Hospital. Beloved mother to Aimee (Charles), Becky (Jose), Stephanie (Scott). Adored "Nani" to Gabrielle, Chloe, Jazmine, Mila, and new born Kingston (July 25, 2012).
Cherished sister of Martin (Peggy), Susan (Walter) Stewart, and Kathy Bowman (Tony Pugliese), David (Marie) Bowman and sisters-in-law Denise (late Mitch) and Patti. Also survived by her nieces and nephews David (Gina), Jeff (Sarah), Greg, Peter, David, Elizabeth, Andrew, Christopher, Michael (Tiffany), Pamela and their families. Will be deeply missed by Steve and many wonderful friends that brought joy to her life each day. Predeceased by her parents Harold and Palmira Kirby and William and Elsie Dmytrow. Judy lived for her family, and her grandchildren were the "centre of her universe." She was a beautiful person both on the inside and out and was extremely generous of her time and treasures. Her Mah-Jongg group was a source of comfort and companionship for many years. Judy delighted in world travel, Niagara-on-the-Lake, and embracing the positive in all situations. At the age of 64, Judy was truly in the prime of her life. She will be missed dearly.
Family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street on Tuesday between 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Liturgy will be held on Wednesday at 10:30am at Cathedral of St. Catherine of Alexandria, 3 Lyman Street. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Catharines General Hospital Building Foundation in memory of Judy.
