Fiorucci Rosina (Nee: Giancola)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rosina. She passed away unexpectedly at her home on December 7, 2022. She leaves behind her husband of 62 years Giuseppe, her daughters Maria (Gabe) Pizzardi, and Carla (Vince) Sasso, her grandchildren Amanda, Monica, and Joshua. Also survived by her siblings Addolorata (Antonio) Minicucci, Alberico Giancola, Immacolata (the late Angelo) Giancola, Addolorata (the late Luigi) Giancola, Elsa (the late Assuntino) Giancola and Giuseppina (the late Piacentino) Giancola and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by Cesino and Rosina Giancola.
Rosina will be most remembered for her great sense of humor, infectious laugh, love of her family and friends and her wonderful home cooking. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.
Rosina's family will receive guests at George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St, St. Catharines (905-937-4444) on Sunday, December 11th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A funeral Mass for Rosina will be celebrated at St Alfred Church 272 Vine St. St Catharines on Monday, December 12th at 9:30am with entombment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
