Our family has many fond memories of Fr. George from the years he lived in Hinton. I had the honor of attending his ordination in Ottawa. When he was a priest at St. Timothy's in Toronto our 3 sons and I met him and spent a great afternoon at the Ontario Science Centre followed by Mass. We will be offering a Mass for Fr. George on January 20th. May our good God welcome him quickly into his eternal reward. Our deepest condolences to his family. Ron, Barb, Michael, Jeffrey and Kevin Rosmer

Fr. George was a wonderful Priest who truly lived the calling " to know Him is to Love Him is to serve Him through serving His people, the body of Christ". He was a man of great humility and patience. He laid down his life for others to be set free. His life was one of great hidden sacrifice and he truly lived the Mass. My family and I met Fr. George at St. Timothy's Parish in Toronto back in 2000, although he was there a short time, he was truly missed once he moved on. I am so grateful to God for his presence in our lives and to his family who supported him in his choosing of the Priesthood.
This work that he was handed will continue on with His new life in Christ and Mother Mary.
God Bless you Fr. George
With Deep gratitude,
David and Ann Marie Belcastro and Family

What a pleasure to have met you, we shared so many memories and religious times with the Dowling’s anytime I came to Ottawa. You were the kindest most loving man/priest and I will cherish the love and joy you brought to me and the Dowling family over the years. Never forgotten!! gg (Cyril’s sister Halifax)
