Obituary of Giacomo Mozzoni

MOZZONI, Giacomo - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at his home, on Saturday July 21, 2012 in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Italia. Loving father of Grace and her husband Piergiorgio of Italy, and Robert and his wife Winnie of St. Catharines. Cherished Nonno of Steven, Denise, Alyssa and Lia. Giacomo is survived by his siblings Nazzareno and Lucia and their families. He will be fondly remembered by his extended family and friends. Predeceased by his brother Bernardo (2011). The family wishes to thank Andrea LaCasse of CCAC, as well as St. Elizabeth Health Care, ParaMed, Pro Wellness and Dr. Paolone for their care and compassion. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street on Tuesday July 24, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with entombment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If so desired, donations made to Wellspring or Hospice Niagara would be appreciated by his family.
