Obituary of Carmine Tota
After a brief illness, Carmine passed away peacefully on January 9, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Loving husband to Maria (nee Damiano) for over 64 years. Cherished father to Angela (Mike Geremia), and Julia (the late Mike Siconolfi). Dearest Nonno to Christopher, David, Corina, Francesca, and Michela. Carmine is predeceased by his parents and siblings. He will be remembered by his extended family of nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Carmine was fortunate to remain at home where he was happiest thanks to the support and best care given by his wife, Maria. He enjoyed a good plate of pasta, watching wrestling on TV, and visits from his family. We will miss his determined spirit and bright smile.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, January 12 from 4-8pm at George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines with Vigil Prayers at 6:30pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday January 13th at 11am at St. Alfred Roman Catholic Church with entombment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to Community Care would be appreciated by Carmine’s family.
