Obituary of Howie Jackson
We are sad to announce the passing of Edward “Howie” James Jackson on Saturday, January 28, 2023 in his 80th year. He will be dearly missed by his sons Darren and Jason, grandchildren Josh, Tyler, Garrett, Megan and Cody, and siblings Paul and Marlene. Howie was predeceased by his father Art and mother Lola.
Howie led a full life, he retired from Thompson Products (TRW) in 2000. In his retirement he enjoyed spending time at the cottage, fishing with his sons, playing hockey, golfing with friends, and could be found enjoying the occasional beer at “Gayle’s Bar” (as he called it). Howie was a fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Buffalo Bills, rarely missing a game.
In accordance with Howie’s wishing, arrangements have been entrusted to George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. The family wish to invite guests for visitation on Monday, February 6, 2023 from 11am-1pm at the funeral home, with a service to follow at 1pm in the chapel.
