I was very sorry to read about Larry's death. We lived close to each other growing up in Alexandria and played together. I met him again after too many years at the Maxville Highland Games where he would stop me each year and ask if I recognized him. After a couple of years,I did. Those yearly brief "what's new" encounters were especially enjoyable because I don't think Larry had it that easy all the time as a kid and it was good to see what he had accomplished in his life, especially his family of which he was so proud.
