Obituary of Tekla Hozjan
Tekla (Tina) Hozjan
With heavy hearts the family announces the peaceful passing of Tekla, at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at the age of 91. She was born in Budyliw, Ukraine where she eventually immigrated to Canada and met and married her late husband Martin (1997).
Tekla leaves behind her four children: Anne (John) Hall, Tony (Melissa) Hozjan, Diane Rosenberg and Dan (Nancy) Hozjan. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren: Bailey Campbell, Tyler Hall, Britney Rosenberg and Kylie Hozjan, along with her great-grandchildren Taylor and Madelyn.
The family will receive visitors at George Darte Funeral Home 585 Carlton St. St Catharines on Friday, February 24th 2023 from 11am-1pm followed by a funeral service in the chapel, with internment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow.
