Dear Kim, Barbara, Bill and Karen & family, I am so very, very sorry that Jack has passed away. As you all know I loved that man and thought the world of him and I know he felt the same about me. I have missed him over the past few years. We had many a laugh, drink and smoke together. He needed to be at peace I think from the last time I spoke with him. Now he can have that peace. I send my deepest sympathy to you all. He loved you all so very much and constantly talked about you and the grandchildren, which he was so proud of. Just one of the gifts he gave Mom was the closeness to family, she learned from him how important that was and it changed her life. I will not be able to be there unfortunately, not phyiscally but spiritually I will be there. I am in Picton and have to work here next week. I am sorry I cannot share in the celebration of his life but memories will always be there. Take good care of yourselves and each other as that is what he would want. Lots of Love Wendy

When I first met Jack, he had hair and so did I. In recent years, he seemed to take great joy in having more hair than I do (something we never measured to really get to the facts). Always quick with a joke and always ready for golf, Jack was a tireless supporter of the St. Catharines Business Club. I was very happy to have him attend my firm†™s Showcase and the Club†™s recent golf event despite not feeling well for either. I am better for having known him. I offer my sincere condolences. He will be missed.

I had the privilege of golfing with Jack in June at the St Catharines Business Club golf tournament. He was not feeling 100%, but was still at the top of his game for comic relief. He was a true gentlemen and I offer you all my sincere condolences.
