Obituary of Domenica Lettieri
LETTIERI, Domenica (nee Gentile)
"Mamma, la piu bella cosa del mondo sei tu"
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, after a long and courageous battle with Parkinsons disease on March 20, 2023, at the age of 84. Predeceased by her loving and devoted husband Antonio. Loving mother of the late Vince (Frances), Natalina (Jeff ), Tommaso (Isabella) and Mike (Josephine). Loving Nonna of Jenna, Julianna, Anthony, Nicholas, Melina and Antonella. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and brought her immense joy.
She will be missed by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. She was known for her smile and welcoming nature. She spent many happy times with her loving husband, travelling and creating lifelong memories and meeting new friends along the way. She also enjoyed preparing meals for family and friends and took pride in knowing that everyone felt so loved and welcomed in her home. Her strength, generosity and sense of humour were evident to those blessed to know her. Domenica's legacy of kindness, devotion to family, loyalty to friends and faith in God will live on in her children and grandchildren.
The Lettieri family would like to thank those who cared for her over the years with both kindness and compassion. Thank you Dr. Buetow, Care Partners, Sherrie, Lisa, Christine, Tita and Annalisa. Special thanks to the Palliative care team at the NHS.
