Obituary of Robert Topic
On Tuesday, March 28th, Robert Topic peacefully passed away at home surrounded by his cherished wife of 28 years, Lori (nee. Monchalin); loving children Lucas (Brittany), Christian (Kaleigh), Danielle and Julia. He was the proud grandfather of his grandson Wesley. Rob leaves behind his parents, Ivan and Nevenka Topic, brother Boris; mother-in-law Bernadette Monchalin and will be missed by his many nieces and nephews, family and friends. Rob was notably a family man, hard worker and was respected by many inside and outside of work. In accordance with his wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted with GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St. St. Catharines. The family wish to invite guests for a time of gathering on Friday, March 31st from 2:00PM-4:00PM and 7:00PM-9:00PM with prayers at 4:00PM. A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, April 1st 2023 at the St. Vincent de Paul Church beginning at 11:00AM with cremation to follow. If desired, the family would appreciate donations in honour of Rob to the Niagara-On-The-Lake Community Palliative Care Service.
