Obituary of Stephanie Kallaur

Stephanie Kallaur age 78 passed away peacefully on Monday April 3, 2023 at West Parry Sound Health Centre in Parry Sound surrounded by her loved ones.  Stephanie was born on July 5, 1944 in Toronto, to the Late Nicholas Manzatiuk and Olga (Galandzy) Manzatiuk, Loving wife of Victor Kallaur of 54 years, Cherished Mother to Andrea (Jamie) Cavanagh and Gregory (Patricia) Kallaur, Proud and Loving Baba of Kieran and Kyle Cavanagh the light of her eye.  Dear Sister to David (Orysia) Manzatiuk, Sister-in-Law to Tony Kallaur, Devoted Aunt to Linda (Chris) Moyer, John (Rosario) Kallaur, Boris (Jodi) Kallaur, Tom Telford, Michael (Tina) Manzatiuk, Melanie (Robbie) Zicarelli, and Great Aunt to many Nieces and Nephews.  Stephanie was pre-deceased by her Brother-in-Law Michael Kallaur and her Sister-in-Law Lydia (Butsky) Kallaur, Sister-in-Law to RuthAnn (Sirianni) Kallaur and Niece and God Daughter to Lara Kallaur-Telford.

Stephanie truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, such as chatting with family and friends; she was the champion of long conversations.  Cherishing her time with Victor, her children and especially her two grandsons through family dinners and travels over the years.  Stephanie and Victor enjoyed road trips to the south to beautiful sunny Florida as snow birds, enjoying the sun and soft white sands of her favourite beach, Siesta Key. Stephanie loved animals, especially Samoyeds, the dogs with a forever smile.  The beloved family pet choice of name was Heidi, Heidi 1 and Heidi 2.  Stephanie was the life of the party, first to arrive and often last to leave.  Her presence will always be felt by her loved ones through lasting memories of times spent together.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines.  A private family funeral was held on May 6, 2023 at the Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery where she was laid to rest – Vichnaya Pamyat.
